The CMC Co-hosts Innovation Zone at ITS World Congress 2022 in Partnership with ITS America Events

At the CMC Showcase ’22 in March, we opened our ramp-up factory doors to over 330 industry leaders from around the globe. The event was a huge success, and our Clients, Members and PSPs were able to interact with each other one-on-one, in person, for the first time. We wanted to celebrate every company in our ecosystem, and were happy to provide our Clients space on the expo floor to demonstrate their products in addition to securing a wonderful line-up of speakers for guests to enjoy. We are forever grateful to everyone who came and missed those who were unable to attend. Unknown to our ecosystem at the time, we were secretly in discussions with one of our partners to co-host another event where we could shine some spotlight on our Clients. The CMC is happy to finally reveal that this event will be taking place at ITS World Congress 2022, at the Los Angeles Convention Center on September 18-22 (Conference: September 18 – 22 | Exhibit Hall: September 19 – 22).

Last October while at ITS Hamburg, the CMC announced a new partnership with ITS America Events. ITS America Events generously invited the CMC to join their booth in Hamburg, and as our teams spent the week together an idea to dedicate an area to early-stage mobility companies at ITS World Congress in Los Angeles was developed. After many meetings to brainstorm what this zone would look like, what it would include and what special offerings we would be able to bring to the table, the Innovation Zone was created.

ITS World Congress 2022 expects to bring in over 300 exhibiting companies and approximately 10,000 world leaders, practitioners, policy makers, researchers and private industries. This is truly an event that you don’t want to miss if you are in the mobility space.

Our team experienced a start-up space at ITS Hamburg for early-stage companies and felt we could bring something similar to the event in Los Angeles. The Innovation Zone is a launchpad for emerging, intelligent transportation products, services, and business models. The Zone provides you with opportunities to interact with industry leaders with the goal of commercializing your offerings to transform mobility. You will be provided the opportunity to demonstrate and present at the Innovation Zone stage curated by the CMC, participate in a 2022 Global ITS Innovation Competition, networking activities and more!
