CMC Showcase ’22

The CMC is excited to be hosting our first ever (invite-only) Showcase this week to commemorate our first year of operations and celebrate the major milestones we have reached.

The Showcase will offer guests one-on-one engagements with over 350 industry leaders from around the globe, including early-stage company founders, C-level executives, governmental dignitaries and more. Plus, guests will be the first to see one of the CMC’s major industry success stories, to be revealed at the culmination of the event.

We will have a future mobility technology expo featuring many different innovation companies, including several CMC Clients, as well as lightning talks from world industry leaders like Christoph Deutskens, CEO of PEM Motion, Alberto Ayala, CEO of Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District and Robert Tiderington, Head of Business Development & Partnerships at BrightDrop (the new electric delivery and logistics business from General Motors). There will be multiple EVs showcased, and a few will even be offering ride-and-drives!

The CMC showcase is an opportunity for those who have been there since the beginning, our closest friends and biggest supporters to personally see upfront what the CMC is doing and accomplishing. In under 12 months since opening full commercial operations last spring, we have signed 40 Members from across the globe, 18 Clients, six Preferred Service Providers and appeared in over 250 industry articles and news stories. We have also helped 115 people secure industry-specific internships or full-time positions in the Sacramento region, partnered with nine community-based organizations and job centers, and built meaningful relationships with 15 local manufacturing companies.

This Showcase is the first of many in person events the CMC will be involved with in 2022, including, but not limited to, the ACT Expo in Long Beach, CA from May 9-12 and ITS World Congress Los Angeles on September 18-22.
